So Long, Farewell...

Today was a day of preparing ourselves to get back on the road and begin the "real" trip.  We woke up to waves on the shore, laughter of children, and the knowledge that we would be leaving that today.  It was a beautiful day and we used the lake to our advantage; kayaking, fishing, and just enjoying the family, and sunshine.  

We are so thankful for everything that the "Minnesota family" did for us while we were visiting; welcoming us in with open arms, and sending us away with prayers, smiles, and "good lucks"...it was bittersweet, but we know that where we are headed is already leaving us speechless.  With anticipation we are on the open road again, and it is already exciting!   

As for now, we drive off into unknown lands with big smiles,  and lots of prairie in our sights!  Good night!
