Before the hike
Hello everybody!  We are now on the right day…Thank goodness!!

Today, we woke up, sort of bright and early, made some breakfast, cleaned up camp, and headed toward a place in the park called 'Many Glacier'.  It was extremely cold outside, with a blustery wind and overcast skies, so we dressed warm planning on taking a boat through the lake to get to our trailhead…however, the boat ride cost 25 dollars a person, and, frankly, we felt like we would just hike a different trail instead.  So, we made our way down the road to the trailhead for Iceburg Lake.

On the trail...
The trail was gorgeous with wildflowers galore, mountain goats, many different, spectacular views, and tons of waterfalls.  It really wasn't too steep, but the hike was a total of 5 miles one way weaving around the sides of hills, and over the tops of waterfalls, and, when we were close to the end, there was a ton of snow!  And, because of the snow, I had to do the right thing, and make a snow angel…yes it was a little chilly, but hey, have you ever made a snow angel in July???  The trail ended in the bowl of some of the mountains, and we had a beautiful view.  The lake was pure blue, with lots of ice…and so, after munching on some granola bars, and drinking some water, we worked our way back down, stumbling upon many more hikers, and columbian ground squirrels…(look up a picture, they are the fattest, cutest, balls of fur ever!)

After our 10 mile hike, we left Glacier, quite reluctantly, and began heading towards Coeur D' Alene Idaho…however, we became consumed with trying to find a midnight showing of Harry Potter…yes…maybe little geeky, oh well.  After searching, calling, and spending a lot of time on google, Adam took over and found a theater with 100 tickets left, in Polson Montana, and so that is where we are… In a Walmart parking lot, tickets for Harry Potter in my wallet, Tudela napping, and me writing to you all.  It has been a beautiful day here on the roadtrip.  Lots of loud music, beautiful hiking, and we will top it off with a little movie.. : )

Good Night!

The trail...
We were in the middle of that bowl by the end...
